Topic: Agents of Destiny
Scriptural Passage: Genesis 37:1-36
Focus:
Genesis 37:24 "And they took him, and cast him into a pit:.."
Joseph went to the pit. The pit preserved him. Everything about his life was programmed into time but things began to run so fast, so God brought him to the pit. The pit became his dark time and dry place.
Somebody somewhere is suppose to be playing with money right now but there's no money; money is not coming. You are not even sure if its close by. Don't worry... the Ishmaelites are coming.
These guys were not even Joseph's friends; they were enemies. So they bought Joseph... but what they never knew was that the man they bought was going to rule over them soon. They didn't know that there was going to be famine in the world and they would come back at the feet of the same man they bought.
The reason why Potiphar found Joseph to buy was because the men who bought Joseph were not casual marketers. They had their space at the VIP side of the market place. That was where people like Potiphar came to buy slaves and Joseph was a fine boy.
You think your intelligence is a waste? There are many people that have encountered you and they don't value what you carry. It is because you are not for them. You are not for them! It got to a point you are even doubting your gifts and talents... No! Your Potiphar will find you. If every body appreciates what you have, they will take you away before your Potiphar comes. Say after me "I await my Potiphar! I'm patient!" They are never two; it's always one Potiphar.
The truth about your destiny is that you are not meant to permanently reside in Potiphar's house; Potiphar is also an agent of destiny, just like the Ishmaelites. So he came and went straight to where men of his status used to buy slaves from and it happened that the men who bought Joseph were men of his calibre.
Hear me; where God was taking Joseph to was a place that he must enter with dignity. What God wanted to do in his life when he gets to that point was going to be quick and fast because he would eventually be urgently needed in Pharaoh's palace so much that there would be no time for him to be trained in the things of royalty. That's why he had to pass through Potiphar's house. Potiphar was the agent of destiny required to train him for his final destination - THE PALACE.
Prophetic Declaration
Father, I know you have a palace prepared for me. Let every agent of destiny I need be brought into my life and may I be sensitive and willing to submit to the processes for my training in Jesus name.
It's not enough to discover your assignment. Do you have the courage to walk its path?
