It get me thinking the way some so called spiritual leader's talk about sin-unto-death. Also, the devil has manipulated some people and made them think they have committed sin-unto-death.
It's a pity that most Christians doesn't understand what it means to sin unto death.
Let's look at 1Jhn5:16(amp)
If anyone sees his brother [believer] committing a sin that does not [lead to] death (the extinguishing of life), he will pray and [God] will give him life [yes, He will grant life to all those whose sin is not one leading to death]. There is a sin [that leads] to death; I do not say that one should pray for that
If a brethren sin a sin that is not leading to death, brethren can pray for him and he will be restored but your prayers for someone that has sin unto death is vain.

Nevertheless, you cannot know naturally if one has sin unto death else the Holy Spirit reveal to you. Let's now look at the conditions you must meet for you to sin unto death.
HEBREWS 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once
ENLIGHTENED, and have TASTED OF THE
HEAVENLY GIFT, and were MADE
PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY GHOST,
5 And have TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF
GOD, and THE POWERS OF THE WORLD TO
COME,
6 IF THEY SHALL FALL AWAY, to renew them
again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to
themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him
to an open shame
Let's take the condition one after the other
1)You must have been enlightened
To be enlightened mean to have realized, to have known or to be convinced. Remember the prodigal son when he realized he could go back to his father,the reality dawned on him and he went back to his father. Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
