Jesus, in His valedictory speech told us why the world hates us.
John 15:18-19 NIV
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
Though we are not of the world, we are in the world. This is the devil's territory, at least until Adam's lease runs out. He is the god of this world.(2 Cor 4:4).
And so there will be oppositions, tribulations, weapons will be formed. Our number one adversary—the devil—hates us with passion. The Bible tells us that he is always roaring like a lion, walking about, and seeking whom he may devour.(1 Peter 5:8). So brethren, you've got to fight. More importantly in this end time.
Be vigilant. Paul, writing to Timothy, said: "Fight the good fight of faith!"(1 Timothy 6:12).
I tell you what brethren, violence is permitted. Our Lord Jesus Christ revealed to us this important truth in Matthew's gospel.
Matthew 11:12 NIV
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.
Things are to happen for you, not to you.
Don't just sit back and watch the devil throw darts at you. Fight! Do I mean physical combat with guns, cutlasses, and the likes? Of course not! The weapons of warfare are not carnal.
2 Corinthians 10:4 AMP
For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.
How then should we fight?
Ephesians 6:17 KJV
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

God willing, soon, we shall see how to fight the good fight using the sword of the Spirit. After all we've been chosen to be Christ's soldiers.
2 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
