Revelation 2:23: And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
Revelation 3:1: I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:13: And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and each of them were judged according to their works.
Revelation 22:12: Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to his works.
When it comes to the unsaved their works are borne out of rejection of Him, for the saved the works that do not come out of a resting love and life with Him will result in the loss of rewards.
