Trust Jesus one day at a time. This keeps you close to Him, responsive to His will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. His spirit within you is your resident tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavor. Yield to His gentle touch; be sensitive to His prompting. Exert your will to trust Him in all circumstances. Don't let your need to understand distract you from His Presence. He will equip you to get through this day victoriously as you live in deep dependence on Him. I remembered with one of my Devotion I had read about One Person At A Time. It says that atleast for 1 day, you bring 1 soul back to God.
Thanks for sharing this, @thomasbrown. 🙂 Indeed, above all else, we should trust the Lord. That’s one of the best ways to show our love to Him. Trust the Lord at all times, especially when the going gets tough. Also, as we work every day to achieve our dreams and earn our daily bread, let us not forget to thank and think of the Lord - the Great Provider.
