[KJV] -Colossians 4:17
"And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it".
The scripture says take heed, in order words; give attention, be committed to fulfilling your call.
Your gift is your ministry and your ministry is your purpose in life.
Every talent God gave you is to be used. You need and have to grow in it.
[KJV] -
Luke 19:26
"For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him".
God does not give you extra gift. It's the gifts in you that produces more gifts.
When you put the one you have to work, it grows and multiplies.
Your school and work is important but your gifts are more important.
Every other thing you do should fuel your passion and vision.
Your school should produce for your gift.
Your money should produce for your gift.
Your time should produce for your gift, because your talent/gift is your tag. It distinguishes you. Its your identity. It's who you are.
Your gift makes way for you.
Give your attention to it.
Put your money in it.
Be committed to it
Build and grow your gift.
God knows you for your gifts and operations.
It's very
shocking how most of us are just functioning from a very comfortable state.
We just take the investment into our gifts so regular.
We attend to our gifts only with extra after spending all other funds on clothes and appearing good.
How can a gospel music minister that wants to influence the same world a secular musician like Davido and others are SO PASSIONATELY investing their own gifts into, have only one song in six months. I do not get it!
I really do not get it.
Money is not the factor.
And if it's a factor, then you do not even know who your father in heaven is!
God invests in Passion and not in desires.
Because He is a God of Faith. He blesses the steps you take not the wishes you make.
You can have all the desires in your heart but until u passionately start committing into that dreams of yours by working, you will just be there.
Saul's passion for killing Christians was so much that Jesus Christ had to come do the soul winning by himself just to make sure he gets Saul into his camp and invest in him.
He didnt send any of the apostle to Saul, he went himself to win Saul over because he knew this was a great investment and he needed to seal this deal himself.
Jesus, been a great business man who invested well, made a great business deal with Saul that became Paul.
Today we are all enjoying the profit of that investment.
Ask yourself, yes! I'm talking to you! Are u passionate enough with your calling and gifts for God to really invest in?
Be honest with yourself.

This is the beginning of the 2nd quarter of the year 2018, when you take stocks of the 1st quarter, what is your profit line like when it comes to that which you have been gifted with?
Carefully study the Bible; those mighty men were all passionate with their gifts.
Is it David?
Or Jacob?
Or Isaiah?
Or Jeremiah?
Or even the Lord Jesus Christ himself!
If we take stocks of all your playlist on your devices as a Gospel Music Minister, we will not be shocked how much of secular songs we will find there but it's still amazes me that this secular guys work harder than some of us gospel music ministers.
They give their last penny into their gifts.
The way they believe in their gifts is contagious.
They can go on without food for days, saving their money just to record a song or shot a very good video.
They do not care of how uncomfortable they could be for the now, their eyes is on the higher price.
They've become very disciplined with their time, money and the kind of people they associate with.
They learn the principle of service and loyalty and push outside every element of pride.
There are no doors that are impossible for them to break into.
All they ask for is just one opportunity to hold the Mic and you will feel the strenght and passion they carry.
But we that have the Holy Spirit, we are relaxing, leaving everything for God to do.
You are sleeping every night and saying you are waiting for the Holy Spirit to tell you when to move.
I bet you do not know the scriptures.
The Holy Spirit do not communicate with you on a static position.

Before God spoke into being, the Spirit MOVED upon the face of the water.
Moses stood before the Red sea and said, "stand and see what the Lord would do and God said MOVE, stretch forth your rod and experience my power"
When Goliath charged towards David, David did not take a defensive position. the Bible said, "and David RAN towards him."
I can imagine what happened in Heaven at that moment. wow! The angels moved with David.
We are people of FAITH! Not people of EXCUSES!!
Enough of all these excuses whether justified or unjustified ones.
Stop allowing the devil hold u down with excuses and procrastination.
Get to work today. God needs you to be passionate about that which he has given you for him to be able to bless it and express himself through it.
The passion you give to the little things will translate in the bigger things.
"For he that is faithful with the little will be faithful with the big ones"
We will influence this world. Mark my every word! We will!!

awesome one sir. your giftings depends on your capacity. which you can always grow. and i actually believe in the process. stay long on the altar, and be transformed into him. for the song, secular musicians and gospel are in no way under the same lens. so lets not compare them.
even if a gospel musician produces one song in a year, if he sits long, soaked in his presence to get that song, you can never forget it even after 20 years.
am not a supporter or promoter of laziness but i believe in sticking to the process, allowwing God build and direct. but personal development, is a daily affair. every minute.
people in the church today believe God will do everything, so the choristers don't polish their voices, they don't go and learn how to be professional about it, the teachers don't learn and read books.
and the worst part if out financial literacy.
even the knowledge of temperament is lacking.
your gift will make a way for you. a perfect illustration for this is what happened in malachi: i sit as a purifier of silver. how God polishes and cleanses that silver piece, thats how we should work on our gifts to.
be come an outlier.
the outlier rule: you must have spent over 10,000 hours, tries, attempts.
