Ask In Prayer and You will receive. God is still waiting for you to ask Him.

Growing up as a Christian I have had a lot of ups and downs in my Christian Life and my life as a human on Earth. Most of these problems I realized are as a result of lack of prayers. The truth is God is a good and merciful God. A Good who knows what is good for His children but the truth is if you don't ask Him, He will be there waiting for you to ask. Very simple until you ask you will not get. Asking God for our needs in prayer is a sign of faith in the Lord and a means of telling Him we surrender all to Him only. So today I am going to share with you a part of prayer where I think many Christians like myself underestimate.

What is Prayer?
=> Prayer is simply the loving communication with God.
OR
=> Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God.
Spiritual Truth About Prayers
=> God knows our needs but He expects us to ask.
[Matthew 6:8] ISV : Don’t be like them, because your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
We must ask God in prayers to exhibit our faith in Him. Anytime we stand to pray it shows we trust that God is the only one who can help in our present situation and this is a way to tell God we really have faith in God.
=> The only way to possess our possessions is by asking God.
[Psalms 2:8] ISV : Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession.
To be able to see the glory of God in our lives we must always be before the Father asking Him of His help.
=> Sometimes great possessions come our way through prayers and fasting.
[Daniel 9:3] ISV : So I turned my attention to the Lord God, seeking him in prayer and supplication, accompanied with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
[Matthew 17:21] ISV : But this kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting.
Sometimes in life to be able to grab what is yours, one must do it "by force". Taking what belongs to you in the spiritual realms works more powerfully through prayer and fasting, it works like magic. This is because at this point one has devoted all of his or her being to the Lord in prayer.
=> Everything we pray to God and get is good and pure.
[James 1:17] WEB : Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
This means that every good thing that comes into our lives is from God. He does not send anything that is bad. He does not send the temptations that lead us to sin. He sent Jesus to die for us to bring us new life. He sent the Holy Spirit to be with us and in us. He helps us when we have any troubles. He gives wisdom to those who ask for it in faith. He gives us all that we need and much more.
All good things will come our way if only we put away all form of pride, laziness and weakness in body and in strength and begin to ask God. We will see a change in our lives and even the lives of people around us.
Four (4) Ways To Receive All Our Possessions Through Prayers
=> Pray to the Father in the name of Jesus.
[John 16:23] ISV : On that day, you won’t ask me for anything. Truly, I tell all of you emphatically, whatever you ask the Father for in my name, he will give it to you.
This is the good news about prayer some people don't get right. Jesus is saying; just ask the Father anything in my name and you will get that which you asked. Isn't this a good news? Hallelujah!! What a God we serve, so kind and generous. It is just a matter of asking in the right way and you get it at once.
=> When you pray believe that you will get what you prayed for.
[Mark 11:24] ISV : That is why I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
These are the words of Jesus Christ Himself, He is saying to get that which you have asked of the Father you must believe and it will be wonderful. Just have faith in the Father when you ask Him and you will see the results of your faith.
=> Depend on the Holy Spirit to help you in prayer
Take time to pray and how to pray in the Holy Spirit.
[Romans 8:26] ISV : In the same way, the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, since we do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
You can see the Spirit of God is ready to help us even when we are weak in prayers. What then must you do? Simple, you must rely on the Spirit of God in everything you do and in prayers and you will see the mighty power of God manifesting in your life. Just pray in the Spirit and allow the Spirit rule your prayer life.
=> Faith together with the mighty name of Jesus propels your heavenly possessions unto you.
Prayer without faith has no root to stand firm to give out it's fruit at it season. Prayer always work if it is backed by faith. Just try it and you will see the glory of God in your life.
Always remember that as a Christian and believer, you must give and create time to pray.

There are things God will give you without asking for them but there are things that you don't receive because you don't ask God (see James 4:2).
You make it sound like you can get whatever you want from God. That's just not true. Prayer and fasting isn't magic. You can't just "take" things from God.
You are right. We can't just ask and get from God because we are praying. It doesn't work like that.
But the purpose of the post above is make many of us Christians aware that prayer really work and we should find and create time for that.
