Wisdom is doing what is required to acquire what you desire. Wisdom is knowing what to do and going ahead to do it(Joshua 6:1-26)
TYPES OF WISDOM
Earthly Wisdom
This is called common sense (James 3:15-17)Intellectual/ Sensual Wisdom
This kind of wisdom is gotten from formal/informal educationDevilish/ Occultic Wisdom
This is the kind of wisdom gotten from the devil (PSM 16:4Supernatural/Divine wisdom
This is the highest kind of wisdom and we should go after it(James 3:17, John 3:31, Gen 30:35-45.
Divine wisdom makes you to be in charge of all the affairs of your life (Prov 4:17, Dan 6:3.
Divine wisdom gives you relevance we can get a proper account of this from the biblical example Daniel. He reigned with 3 generations that is with 3kings and for 65years he was relevant. A king had something bothering him and no one was able to solve it for him but hear what mother queen said to her son the king. There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods, and in the days of thy father light and understanding and WISDOM,like the wisdom of the gods was found in him. Daniels wisdom made him relevant he reigned with 3generations that is 3 kings for 65years that is what wisdom made of him.(Daniel 5:1-31.
Wisdom provocks creativity and exploits. (Prov 8:12)
Wisdom is the generator of wealth.(Prov 3:13-16)
Divine wisdom guarantees Peace. ( John 16:33, Isaiah 9:7, 1cor 1:24.
Channels of Wisdom
Wisdom flows in you when you fear the lord and walk uprightly. (Prov 9:10, Psm 111:10)
Commitment to studying the word of God. (2Tim 3:15). The more you look into the word of God the more you get divine Wisdom. (Psm 119:97-100).
Meditation is the act of thinking through the scriptures to proper solutions to the situations of your life. (John 8:8).
Wisdom is knowing that desiring what God desires is greater than what we desire for ourselves.
Focusing on getting what we want from God shows little love for God. It shows very little wisdom as well.
