The church needs prophets today even as in the times past. However, care must be taken not to allow diviners to assume the roles of prophets in our churches. The life of the prophet and the biblical conformity of the prophecy are very important. (Jeremiah 23:21; Ezekiel 13:7)
There are no prophets today. There hasn't been any since the first century. We don't need prophets. We have the Bible.
