FAITH BEYOND REASONING
Gen 22:2
And He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
Faith simply means taking God's word and acting as it is. What God expected of us is to believe him without questioning. Possessing faith beyond reasonable doubt.
Often times we make up our mind to believe in "Thus says the Lord" but eventually finds it hard to continue in the faith because of our reasonings. God's instructions or ways most times seems " unreasonable(unjust) and appears like nonsense( lacks meaning)" and when we try to think about it, our reasonings seems more reasonable why? Because we reason based on how far we can foresee and give meanings to things meanwhile God sees even beyond our imagination. That is why Jesus could replied Satan that " man shall not live by bread alone but by the word that proceeded out of the mouth of God".
Of course, it is reasonable to us for someone who has fasted for 40days to eat even for 3days non-stop and also we could say why would God ask for Abraham only son as sacrifice? but God's "unreasonable nonsense" explains that there is something more for man to live for than the gratification of his appetite and that he will provide the sacrifice for humanity sin which is Jesus explained as a parable with the ram.
Faith beyond reasoning, caused Enoch to walk with God for 300years without a break, Noah to build an ark for saving his house, it prompted Moses to renounce a throne and suffer with isrealites. Looking closely at these patriarchs of faith we could see that their faith wasn't for their personal benefit but for many generations to come.
Once this faith is in operation, nothing in this world can withstand it even the devil has no say. For Jesus said " According to your faith be unto you", "All things are possible for him that believes".

DECLARATION: Dear Lord, let my faith rise beyond any reasonable doubt in Jesus name.
