This is my first Christmas when I am openly celebrating it. While I don’t have a big Christmas tree or even a midsized one, I hang a Christmas wreath in my room with one tiny plastic Christmas tree on my desk. It was all a bit late too cause I’ve been sick about a week before Christmas. So, all I was prepping was just this wreath and tiny Christmas trees.
There was nothing too special about Christmas except I went to church for the Christmas morning service and after that I went to my friend’s house as I am invited for Christmas lunch. It was just simple celebration, but I loved it.
I also got a present from my friend that I only open once I am back home.
Before Christmas, my mother also gave me presents (unfortunately, I can’t use it) because I was sick. So, I am saving it up for the next time I can use it to pay for my flights for my future traveling plans. And that’s about it, maybe next year I could do it better than this year and have the chance to celebrate it somewhere snowy or cold.

I don’t know about others, but for me, I truly love the Christmas vibe, the festive decorations especially. In our home, ever since I was young, I grew up with the tradition that once September comes, my mom already starts decorating for Christmas. And even now, even though we no longer live in the same house and each of us has our own place, we still keep Christmas decorations.

😅 I've been constantly sick these past few weeks since early December but I am slowly recovering now and hopefully won't be sick again.
