RE: Is Christmas a pagan celebration? (Part 4)

in #christmas4 years ago (edited)

That's true. They do believe that. I don't know about that thought. But then again, I haven't been to a mass to even see people receiving it.

I'll just add: It's ALWAYS wine. (Some Catholics sometimes think you're making a joke if you say, some people drink grape juice. )

And one must say, It's all over the Bible. Last supper of course, but I believe Paul spoke about it as well. In John it's clearly said that unless you eat his flesh and drink his blood, you have no life in you. - St. Ignatius from 110 AD also talks about it.

But, yeah I don't know. Need to look more into it and be present at mass few times, when they receive it, to have more of an opinion.

One thing that got my attention is that: There is a black market for the Consecrated Hosts. satanists robe Churches to get the Hosts, all the time. They ONLY take the consecrated ones and leave the others, and most of times it's the only thing they take, leaving priceless works of art for example. Happens a lot. Interesting no?
It goes back, we still have a statement form a satanist in the 1400's about it. And how all of a sudden she could no longer carry it, for no apparent reason. (It's was in Swissland this one, I believe)

And governments in majority Catholic countries, seem to be particularly determined to end that aspect of the mass. That also, got my attention to be honest.

But again, I don't know about that. Just putting some ideas out there, that I find interesting. Maybe some day I'll have more of an opinion about it.

But yes, your statement is actually correct this time.

Sort:

Catholics believe that. Christians do not believe in that.

I know.
