Before i start to telling you the story i personally recommend you to watch this film. Because there is lots of spoiler in my writing.
Part 1: A few for "Insaaf"
What is insaaf. The purpose for why people rally on the street or why people risk thier life for being rebellious. what is it?? Hmm?? what is it then??
Part 2 : Beginning of the magnificent story
So the story begins with 3 friends
- Bhavesh Joshi -- The Activist
- Sikandar Khalon aka sikku -- The engineer
- Rajat -- his name sounds like a writer or an engineer
Now a flashback, its the time when India was rising a revolution against the corruption. In this huge crowd 3 new friends met each other. Who were ready to go to jail to make a change in this country. Because this country is ours how can we let it die like that. So Sikku says " We only talk about this country is corrupted, there is so much corruption, everyone is spreading corruption, but no one is taking any action against it " Then Bhavesh says "So what we will take action"
So they created the Youtube Channel called **"Insaaf TV". **Where two masked hero taking action against corruption happening hereby. Someone is cutting the tree boom there is **"Insaaf". Internet issue on the building boom again there is "Insaaf". Someone is pissing on the wall so there comes "Insaaf". Burning the waste "Insaaf". **Some people think that they are just meesing arround. They dont even know what is the struggle behind insaaf. So after some time they meet a **Sneha -- A law student **and because of thier actions on the internet Sneha became Sikkus Girlfriend. They all were on a taxi it was midnight when the taxi driver broke the signal. Suddenly from nowhere Bhavesh says take the taxi reverse. I mean you can say that these guys are insane.
Part 3: The World building
So everything was going alright. But Insaaf TVs vulnerable spot was they didnt know how to fight. So they go to a Karate Master named **Thapaa. **But although they took some training but it wasnt enough. So one day they were on the beach and Bhavesh Says i will take this war to the end. no matter what we will fight. But country's biggest rally against corruption didn't got much attention. And then Sikkus courage was crippled by this. And then he joins an IT company. I mean it was a basic route for him 9-5 job. So day by day 5 years passsed. Now Sikku got an invitation from USA. So after that Bhavesh and Sikku had a long conversation where Bhavesh says you will go to america but What about insaaf. Then Sikku says What insaaf. Only two of us fighting for it wont make any change. Fighting all the time will ruin our life. I wnat to secure my future. So i am going. Insaaf go to hell. On the other hand Sneha is also sad. because long distance relation doesn't work. But somehow Sikku convinced her. So after a while Sikku went to a police station for his passport varification. Because he didn't bribe them. On the other hand Bhavesh is still going with insaaf TV. Someone from mumbai calls him. Mumbai is suffering from water inconsistency. Although they promised us we will get water 2 times a day but the water comes barely one time a week. So Bhavesh went to the municipal office to investigate. But no one is ready to answer his question. So Bhavesh started investigating the water supply of the Mumbai. So he found a illegal pipe. After a while following that pipe he saw that the pipe went to a compound. So The most mind bending twist. So what is happening here is They are stealing all the water of Mumbai to create water crisis. And after that they are selling the same stoled water to the mass public. As you can see that its a huge scam. So Bhavesh Uploaded the whole evidence on the youtube and lurking the **Cartel mob Patel. **On the other hand Sikku is struggling with his passport varification. But the Police wont approve without bribing. But now what to do. The moto of insaaf was fighting against the corruption not being part of this system. But he lost his hope and gave the police what they wanted. On the other hand Bhavesh uploaded the video it went viral and the person who gave him information was called to the policed station and was beaten by them. So he want to stay away from this water crisis act. On the other hand because Sikku bribed the police Bhavesh got triggered and told Sikku That we are fighting for justice, we are against corruption how can you bribe the Police. This is how you will change the country. But Sikku says i dont want to change the country. thats why i am leaving this country. Now you tell me you will change the country alone?? Camera and youtube?? Then Sikku put up his mobile and starts shooting says now change the country. And Bhavesh says people like you are weak, the whole country is weak, No improvement will take place, Everyone is a Coward. Lets move on, let it go you can just say these words, But fighting for the justice, you wont do that. you go Sikku coward. then Sikku says who did you called Coward, at least I do a decent job. Then Bhavesh Punched Sikku. And they seperated. Now Sikku is Angry with Bhavesh and he Edited the whole video and uploaded on the Insaaf TV without putting his mask on. And the video went viral. Next day there were lots of people on Bhavesh's place and repoters and polices. They got his message wrong. They thought Bhavesh Disrespected mother India. Although he was telling the facts. But still people dragged him out and beat him up. Police was waiting for the Mobs order to stop the fight. Then the police took him. But not on the police station. They took him on a Shady place to the Mob boss Patel. He told Bhavesh Your insaaf TV is finished. You got attention you deserved but telling the facts and screaming to the people they wont belive you. Because they belive in who are silent. Because the truth is who keeps is mouth shut. If you create any more videos let me remind you an ordinary person don't have any respect. Where the police inspector went to Sikku and threaten him to go to america. not to do anything stupid. Or you will be killed by my bare hand. On the other hand Bhavesh Joshi was upset because his insaaf TV got stamped with corruption. The only thing he was fighting for. How can he be silent. Sikku did what he did he doesnt care. But he must fight alone. So at night went out from the hospital and created a video. Where he says they fractured my bones but not the spirit inside. We all are havited by this corrupted society. Today they are stealing our waters, then our rights, then our place and credit. I cant live like that. I will fight for this justice untill I die, because I am Bhavesh Joshi. and this is Insaaf. So Bhavesh went to that facility where they was stealing the water and then the mob boss Patel caught him and beat him to death.
Part 4: The real hero awakens
So they killed Bhavesh. Sikku went to the morgue to see him. He felt guilty for his actions. Sikku burned him. So he met the karate man again. He asked him about Bhavesh. He asked he came to you to learn karate right? So the Karate man told him that he has been coming to me about 5 years. He didnt miss any class. You take care of yourself Sikku. Sikku was already upset. So he went for America. But that night on that illegal compound. He beat all those gourds. And burnt that compound. And before going he told one of the gurd to tell everyone that Bhavesh joshi did it. Next morning The main Owner of this illegal business came the the compound. He was burning inside. So the Biggest plot twist came up. So basically Sikku never went for America. He wanted to keep alive the Bhavesh's legacy, The Insaaf TV. He will be the Bhavesh Joshi. So he went to a Illegal hotel. Which was closed by the govt. He will stay there. But to avoid suspicion from the police he captured himself and edited the photo to make it up like he was in America. And he also managed to manipulate the data of the airport. So no one have any clue about that. So SIkku started to investigate. He found that the day and the place Bhavesh was beaten there was the Municipal officer too. So he started to follow him. He found that an ordinary govt. officer like him is riding a new mini Cooper. Then he Purchased a phone, Purchased a mask and put some lights on it. Then he went to that municipal officer and abducted him, he was recording. He asked the officer to tell him the truth. Then he asked Who killed Bhavesh. The officer refuses to know Bhavesh. But then Sikku got triggered and started torturing the officer. Then the officer spoke that Patel killed him. But at that moment some mob came up and they started a fight. So Sikku tried to loose them. So he jumped from third floor and end up in a car. But the mobs caught him. And then the karate man Thappa showed up and saved him form the mobs. After that Sikku uploaded the confession on the youtube. Patel got caught and his illegal business was crumbled. After that Rana killed the municipal officer and he manipulated the media telling that the officer suicide because of Bhavesh Joshi. And he wrote a death note where he stated that he was forced to confess. So after seeing the vide Rajat is also in shocked that how can it be possible. Sikku is in America. Who is this Bhavesh Joshi. On the other hand. Sikku went to Thaapa to learn karate. Thaapa knew that no matter what happens to him he is going to fight. So he started training Sikku. At the same time he was tracking Patel and his gang. He bought a bike. He manages to find out that. Patel started stealing the water direclty from the Municipal compound. He loaded lots of trucks. And placed them out of Mumbai in a different location. But why?? So Sikku went to a pub tracking Patel. Where he set up a microphone into the room where patel was in. then he heard the conversation and was shocked. Because Patel wanted to Blow the whole pipeline system to create a massive water crisis. And the trucks he manages to fill. He will sell them to the mass public. So Sikku was lwaving with his transmitter and the police saw him. everyone started chasing him. Where is he. But then from the dark a lighted masked man and a black bike showed up. I can swear that this was a thrilling chase in the bollywood history. It was awsome. On the other hand Rajat got it that Sikku is behind all this. so Rajat went to the place where he was hiding. He told Sikku that Didn't you think of Sneha and me. Because they will kill us if they find out about you. Let Sneha go but at least think about me. Then Sikku says then join me in this fight. Then Rajat says you are not a hero Sikku. Next day he went to Thaapa and told him everything. He told thaapa that Bhavesh had no last wishes but he had an hope which is Insaaf. And he want to end this fight. So at that night he called Rajat and said if i don't call you tomorrow then here is a message on my phone. Please send the message for me.
Part 5: The long night
So Rajat Immediately went to the hideout and saw that message. Where He confessed to Sneha. He will fight for the insaaf and Bhavesh's legacy. Then he told that Bhavesh was killed because of me. I have to fight for justice staying on this country. So Sikku went to the pipeline where he lighten up his super cool mask and started fighting everyone. Also Rajat was there. He put out his camera and started shooting everything. But suddenly everyone started beating Sikku. Then the inspector came and revealed his face. This is Sikku, he didnt go to America?? He was shocked. Then Patel took him to his Car and told him that the people will blame him for the blast of the pipeline. Then Patel handed him to Rana. Then Rana told him a story. It concluded like that. Truth doesn't work on this country. And like Bhavesh I will kill you too. So the police officer took him out. And shot him to point blank, and threw him in the river. On the other side Rajat was watching and recording everything. After everyone leaving that place. Rajat went to save SIkku. He jumped from the Bridge and somehow manages to save him. He took him to a Hospital immediately. Then suddenly Sikku said to Rajat that tell everyone that i am dead. On the other hand Rana who blew the pipeline to create crisis. He went to the minister and told him i have reserved water many tankers. I will give that to you. It will make you a public hero. But i have a condition. The condition is the minister have give him the contracts of the water from now on. And since the minister was getting credit for that. He agreed.
Part 6: The perfect ending
On the other side Sneha got to know that Sikku is no more. But he left so much evidence so she can fight on the court. And people like Patel can go to jail. So she started her fight too. After that Rajat took him to a new house. And then he found peace. but There was something in the last. It was a cliffhanger. It showed that Sikku AKA Bhavesh Joshi broke to Rana's House and then the story ends.
Part 7: My words
Watching this film was so thrilling. At one moment i thought that i was watching Cristopher Nolans Batman Begins. It was kinda similar. This was directed by my most favorite director from Bollywood Anurag Kashyaap. i just love his works. I cannot stop praising this whole story. So whoever didn't watched this movie. I personally reccomend you this movie. You will be thrilled, learn to fight against corruption and most importantly it will show you hope. It will Inspire you
