Walking Dead - Here's Negan

Did the monkeys finally did it? Did they press the keys for trillion times and finally wrote Shakespeare play? Well it depends on do you like Shakespeare. Was this the best episode ever for the best show ever? No. But it was not boring and pointless.

As the title says we got a Negan centric episode. Mostly about his past. So we learned that Negan was a jerk, then a good husband, then a psycho and now he is kinda back to be decent.

Why this episode worked? Well mostly because there were no really stupid decisions made by characters to make the plot moving along. Almost everything that Negan and others did in this episode you could understand the reasoning or even think that you would do the same. And mix that with decent plot and you have a good episode.

Of course they had to do some scenes that they thought it will be interesting like digging for his baseball bat. You have to have a montage.

You would not dig for it, it was there just for few years, you are not looking for fossils. You would maybe poke around if some grass and dirt got on it and you can't see it.

Him walking out from the house he burned looked nice, but no one would stay in the house when they lit the fire in the basement and wait until the whole house is in flames. They could probably got the nice scene effect with him watching the house burn and that would makes more sense.

Without giving away to much, it was a good episode and if they manage this quality for the last season ( i doubt) it could be an interesting watch.

We did not get the part of how he managed to get all those followers and how he build The Saviors, probably because of the Covid restrictions.

Some people will complain about the flashback into the flashback into the flashback that then went into a flashback flashforward then to a flashback to end up in current time. For me it was ok. It worked for the story.

Anyone watched this? Anyone still watching The Walking dead? Any thoughts on the episode?
