Speaking of Vacation/getaway movies, there are many movies in my head. The first one that came across to me was Home Alone 2- Lost in New York, which is actually my favorite.
The season of the movie made me love it more, because I am a lover of Christmas, so seeing the movie with Christmas celebrations all around made me have great interest in it.

The movie was released in 1992 and was a huge hit. It featured the same cast as the first film and was actually more successful, most likely due to the more recognizable setting of New York.
In Home Alone 2, Kevin leaves Chicago to spend Christmas vacation with the family in New York, but a mix-up at the airport sends him on a wild adventure. Kevin has to prove to his family that he can handle staying home alone.
While in New York city Kevin McCallister gets himself in a lot of trouble with the police, but he escapes and tries to get back home. He was being hunted by some bad guys, but due to his smartness, he was able to overcome them.
The movie has a lot of funny moments as it has so much to do with Home Alone 1, but this time around Kevin is older and has more tools of defense like flash-lights and cell phones to protect himself. This movie is rated PG for violence including some frightening images and situations, language and brief drug content.
This movie makes me think of the safety of my family, especially when they are traveling by plane.
The first time I watched this movie, I was bored because there was nothing to do, but when the bad guys came, I started to get scared for Kevin.
It's a great idea to watch this movie because it helps us to see how dangerous it can be for little kids to be alone or for people that don't know how to stay safe. This movie also makes me think about how important is to stay safe when we travel by plane.
In the movie, there is a moral lesson as well. The movie in summary is a story about a boy who is all by himself but doesn't need anyone to stay sane or alive because he has his own tricks up his sleeve. This is one of many positive messages in the movie and others include being brave and smart and some others being independence and social skills.
Movie fans around the world enjoyed this sequel due to its exciting storyline, strong acting and appropriate humor. I've watched alot of Getaway movies, but this remains my favorite.
