During a recording session earlier in the week, the lads wanted to give the THAXTED hymn tune another crack. I had already taken off my organ shoes and was done playing for the evening. Most organists wear special shoes that can easily glide on the pedals and are narrow so that adjacent notes aren't accidentally hit (well that's the theory anyway). I complied with their request and the final result was pretty good 😀 I only wish the organ had a little more grunt (e.g. an underpinning 32' foundation and a full reed chorus at 16-8-4!).
