Easy to say but the economics were not there, solar panels were shit and way to expensive!! Like when Pete paid way to much for some shit ass panels that could not even store the energy. Even today with the crash in oil price electric vehicles are taking a huge hit! Technology has to catch up with ideology!! Solar is just becoming economical NOW ...!
