When Root compared photos that he took of the glacier to images taken at the glacier’s lowpoint in 2008, it appears that the glacier has grown since that time.

- the Grinnell Glacier has grown slightly from the 2008 images that are displayed on the Hotel walls. There has been no reporting of this in any newspaper or broadcast that we know of. (In fact, all news coverage reports the precise opposite.) The smaller Gem Glacier—which is visible from the valley miles below—also appears to be slightly larger than it is shown in 2008 pictures on display.

From what I've been able to discover..the sea level rise for the last several hundred years has been...about 2 mm (quarter inch?)....a YEAR, not even a (small) ripple high....much less a wave or a tide.
How high is the tide where Al's mansion is?

I think the sea level rise of 2mm a year is entirely connected to blue whales migratory patterns, and their problems with flatulence..

either by global warming or by low temperatures the planet is trying to tell us something, I live in Argentina and this was one of the warmest winters in history (if it was not the warmest), tropical storms are also consequences of that , we have had in recent years a single child current in history and the earthquake of these days in Mexico and the one that happened 15 days ago were very strong, luckily the first one that estimated of a force 8.1 richter did not have like epicenter a continental zone as if it had this week in Puebla, the effect we are causing as a society on the planet is serious and will have catastrophic consequences. very interesting post, thanks for sharing!
There is a document out there that talks about the importance of having a global threat in order to 'unite' the world. One of the ideas in the document is using the climate a to achieve this. It's called 'report from iron mountain'.
It was later claimed to be a hoax, but it is spot on and very interesting.

I believe they wanted to use the change they expected for their agenda, but it backfired when the models turned out to be useless...
Now they have no choice but roll with it and silence those who question the narrative.
