I wish the carbon tax was an april fools joke

in #climate5 years ago

The carbon tax comes into effect today. This effectually raises the cost of living for working families in Canada across the board. Where I'm from on the east coast of Canada sea level rise would have an enormous impact on our communities. Is the rise in sea levels here (38 centimeters, a micro-penis) actually the result of the industrial revolution?
It's hard to sift through the politically charged narrative adopted by the MSM.

I read CBC's article titled, "Nova Scotia is one 'perfect storm' away from being cut off from Canada" where the author pushes forward the argument that the increase in hurricanes in the area is directly related to C02 levels, despite there being no evidence. Extreme weather (with the exception of drought) has not been shown to correlate let alone be the result of the industrial revolution, so why does this drivel go unquestioned?

I'll post the link to the article below. The comment of the day has to go to Bruno Wiskel, who wrote "Its almost like the CBC is spreading apocalyptic climate change propaganda because it is expecting to receive a portion of the carbon tax to bolster it's revenues!!"

Well, Bruno, I think you've figured out the joke.

Happy April Fools
