My new friend Woofie!

Hello Steemians! Let me introduce my new friend, Woofie!
Woofie is here to celebrate Chinese New Year with everyone!

把Woofie给画出来是让它来和我们一起庆祝即将到来的农历新年！

But but..Chinese New Year is around the corner. Woofie has too much to do with too little time.

但是...怎么办！距离正月初一还有2个星期！太快了！Woofie还有好多好多事还没开始做，时间不够用啊！

Woofie need more new clothes, red packet(ang pow), spring cleaning for home, decorate house, get a new hairstyle, cny groceries...

Woofie需要买新衣新鞋，还没准备红包封，还得大扫除，装饰家里，还要烫个新发型，还要办年货！2个星期怎么够呢？！

Chinese New Year is the most important festival for Chinese who are celebrating.

农历新年对华人来说是个很重要的节庆。

Spring Cleaning
Cleaning before Chinese new year is a tradition. Every corner in the house need to be cleaned, it is also a way of sweeping away bad luck. Sweeping or dusting should not be done on the first day of Chinese new year as elderly believe that good fortune will be swept away.

大扫除
过年前来个大扫除是个习俗。家里的每个角落多必须得清理干净，有些人家里还会粉刷为屋子换新装，大扫除就是除旧布新，把一切过去的不好给扫出屋外，让家里干干净净舒舒服服。大年初一时打扫是不被允许的。因为老一代的长辈都深信这样会把好的运气给送出屋外。

Everything from head to toe is new
Buy new clothes and shoes is one of the Chinese New Year traditions. Most of us who are celebrating chinese new year avoid wearing black clothes as black is consider "bad fortune" in chinese culture.

新衣新鞋
穿上新衣新鞋过年也是个习俗。少不了的就是红彤彤的新年衣。新年时大多数人不会选择穿黑衣。因为长辈都会认为黑色是不吉利的颜色。

Red packet/Ang pow
Red symbolizes luck, and red packets are often decorated with gold Chinese characters. Ang pows are given as token of good wishes to friends and family.

红包
新年少不了的就是派红包，也是小孩们新年时最期待的。发红包给晚辈或长辈都代表着把祝愿和好运带给他们。

Decorate home with reds
Putting up red lanterns, some cherry blossoms and door couplets.

红彤彤的布置
把家里布置得红红的，挂红灯笼，一大棵粉色红色的桃花树和对联是少不了的。

New year shopping
We will go for New Year shopping for foods, snacks, nuts, decoration things to put in the house and mainly everything that we need for Chinese New Year.

办年货
办年货是最重要的。大家都必会外出买过年时需要的装饰品，年饼，零食等等的。
