Happy the year of the dog!
So Chinese New Year holiday almost ended. It’s sad that I have to go back to work again. Like Christmas for most western countries, Spring Festival/Chinese New Year is the most important moment for family reunion, to have a break and prepare for the coming new year. There are certain traditions for Spring Festival, like ancestor worship on Chinese New Year Eve, red packages for kids and the seniors, etc. some of which you may have already heard of.
Thanks to the internet, and STEEMIT(of course!), the world is becoming smaller! Are you interested in Chinese culture? The other day, @rivalhw mentioned that it’s time to make Chinese culture known and understood by more people across the world, in simple and accessible ways. So far below ideas have occurred to us:
1 Learning Chinese by Idiom Stories
2 Learning Chinese by Internet Hot Words
3 Learning Chinese by Historical Stories
4 Learning Chinese by Historical Figures
All the above topics can be divided into multiple sub-categories. For example, there are tens of thousands of Chinese idioms, each of which has its own story. With these stories, this topic could be way more interesting and informative than The Arabian Nights. Isn’t that exciting?
Two heads are better than one! Please do not be shy to tell us if you have any other topics you are interested in about Chinese culture, either modern or historical. It would be our greatest pleasure to present a more vivid and fascinating China to YOU.
i suggest maybe can introduce more modern china tech or pop songs etc, to showcase soft power :)

Ohhh I would looooveee to learn about chinese culture. In fact just some time back I had made that comment in here. I would love to hear more about historical stories. I feel they are magical!
