Hi Steemians,
Today I'll be taking you to the Grand Palace in Bangkok. Going to Bangkok from Sydney is now very easy as we have a few airlines that can fly directly into this busy city. If you going to ever visit Bangkok, you need to make a visit to see the Grand Palace. Wat Pho which is close to the palace is also another must see place and I will take you there at a later date.
今天我會帶你們到曼谷大皇宮．從悉尼到曼谷現在非常方便因為已經有好幾間航空直航飛到曼谷。到曼谷旅行時，曼谷大皇宮是最主要旅遊景點之一．卧佛寺離大皇宮非常近所以遊客通常都在一天會到這兩個景點．下一集我會帶你們到卧佛寺看看。
The hotel we stayed in was not close to any public transport so they took us to the main road on the tuk tuk to get a taxi to get to the palace. Unfortunately the train does not take you to the palace so I recommend you to take a taxi there as it is the quickest and fastest way. As Thailand is always so hot and humid, you would want to reduce the time being outdoors as much as possible.
我們住的酒店來公共交通比較遠所以他們用Tuk Tuk 車帶我們到大街坐計程車到大皇宮。到大皇宮是沒有火車站的所以我建議大家坐的士比較方便．
Once we got out of the taxi, there were many people approaching us tell us that our outfit is not suitable for the palace. They offered to hire us a cover my our legs for around 300-500baht but we declined. We were prepared to go to the palace with some pants. When we were about to go inside the palace, the workers advised that my pants were not long enough and they offered me a cover for free with a small deposit and we get it back when we return it. They had many for tourists to use so you don't need to hire the ones from outside the palace. Another note is you need to wear proper shoes - if you are wearing thongs, please wear some socks with them.
到皇宮之後有很多當地人上前告訴我們穿的衣服不適合進去參觀．他們主動提議我跟他們租一條長裙但要300至500泰幣．我當然拒絕的。買完門票之後工作人員告訴我穿的褲子不夠長。皇宮可以借一條長裙給我但要給他們一點按金，還裙之後可以拿回按金．其實這裏有很多衣服借給遊客所以你不用跟在皇宮外面這些人租因為價錢非常高。還有一點就是到皇宮是要穿一對鞋，如果你選擇穿拖鞋就要穿一對襪子才可以進去。
Once we got inside, we were greeted with some very large colourful buildings. It was so pretty! It seemed like we need to take a photo at every angle. The palace is huge so prepare to walk and bring lots of water. Also wear a comfy pair of shoes. Below is a map of the palace.
進去一看，我們只看見很多同顏色的建築物．非常漂亮的！好像每一個角度，每走一步都想要拍照留念．這個皇宮非常大所以要預備一些飲料比較好．還有之前提過的是穿一對舒服的鞋只．以下是皇宮的地圖
As the king does not live here anymore, a large part of the palace is actually still used for royals and ceremonies so tourists are not able to visit them. We were told by a local due to many tourists visiting this site, the buildings are being 'damaged' as people touch it constantly, trying to remove some parts of the walls etc. As we walk through the palace, there were so many walls and yes we do see some tourists not doing their bit and not looking after the buildings.
現在泰國皇帝不是在這裏居住但有部份的皇宮都是用來做一些典禮儀式和還給一些皇室人員使用。 有些當地人跟我們說，因為每天都非常多遊客，有些遊客沒有禮貌地想破壞某些牆和其他雕像．我們在當日也看見有遊客做一些不好的行為。
We also saw some people who secretly took off their long skirts like the lady in this picture behind me so they can take a photo in their own clothes. Luckily a worker there told the lady to put the long skirt back on.
還有有些遊客會偷偷取下長裙來拍照．好像在相片我後面這個遊客，你可以看見到她是穿一條短裙來拍照的．幸好有工作人員上前告訴她要遵守規矩．
