Item Reje Gayo is a cooperative in Bener Meriah, Aceh, Sumatra, and 282 of its women members contribute to the special lots we buy as part of our Women Coffee Producers Program. These women own and manage farms of about 1.5 hectares, and they have used the premium they receive for this coffee to buy new farm tools—hoes, saws, shovels, and shears—for the co-op's entire membership.
