J's Place, a local Nicholasville coffeehouse, is one of the wonderful places shining a bright beacon of light. Nicholasville has been in the midst of people with drug addiction, homelessness and chronic depression.
J's Place has a mission focusing on rebuilding, uplifting and enliving the surrounding community. They are a non-profit that supports local rehab facilities. They also partnering with local churches and other organizations to share love of God.
J's Place doesn't discriminate between those who come into their coffeehouse. There are homeless, jobless, destitute and hopeless people who are being assisted daily beyond their addictions.
J's Place is not only a place that lives by a fantastic mission but one who has wonderful coffee, drinks, food, atmosphere and staff members.
The mission to invest in others and the quality of food, atmosphere and service are the reason that my fiance and I support this wonderful coffeehouse!
So if you are ever in the area go to J's Place; you'll be encouraged and served well. Plus you will get to know all the wonderful staff!
