Blok zinciri, ilk defa Bitcoin ile ortaya konulmuş olan, içerisinde kayıtların birbirine kriptografik elementlerle bağlı olduğu sürekli büyüyen dağıtık bir veri tabanıdır.
Blockchain Nedir?
Blockchain’i kısaca şifrelenmiş işlem takibi sağlayan bir dağıtık veri tabanı olarak adlandırabiliriz. Adından da anlaşılacağı gibi zincirleme bir modelle inşa edilen, gelişmiş şifreleme algoritmalarıyla takip edilebilen ama kırılamayan Blockchain teknolojisi, bir merkeze bağlı olmaksızın işlem yapmaya izin veriyor.Böylece işlemler direkt olarak alıcı ile satıcı arasında ve güvenli bir şekilde gerçekleştirebiliyor.
Blockchain teknolojisi hayatımıza ilk olarak bitcoin ile giriş yapmış olsada farklı yapılarda da bu teknoloji kullanılmaya başlandı.
Örneğin sosyal bir ağ projesi olan steemit'te blok yazıları ve eklediğimiz görseller bu blok zincir tabanlı bir sistem üzerinde tutulmakta.
Birçok devlet dijital paralara güvenmemiş olsalar bile bu Blockchain teknolojisine daha sıcak bakmakta. Örnek olarak ülkemizde de birçok bakan bitcoin başta olmak üzere, insanlar temkinli davranıyorlar ve güvenmediklerini dile getiriyorlar hatta insanlarda bu paralara karşı dikkatli olmaları gerektiği yönünde sık sık açıklamalarda bulunuyorlar. Ve not olarak da blockchain sistemini önemsedikleri yönünde açıklamaları da yapıyorlar.
