Yesterday I showed you guys how my mother was collecting post stamps and I saw that you guys liked it.
Today it is my father's turn, he was also collector, but his passion was in badges. He has collected pretty decent amount of badges. I think today kids are not collecting anything, they collect points in video games but stuff like this are dead.

Are the collections just your mother's and father's or did/do you add to their collections? I love when these types of collections are passed on from one hand to another who continues the tradition.
I see from your Christmas tree that you have a little one in the house. I imagine that he or she will eventually get these collections?

That is one big collection. Pretty nice badges there. And you are right, interest in things like these is indeed finished, since everything nowadays revolve around digital and virtual worlds!
Also put photography tag so more peolple see it.

Ha! Maybe I'll post a picture of my 'button collection' someday (which was started by my grandmother actually, I just really like the feeling of the buttons in my hand :D)
