It’s my creation. I did this painting two years back, when I was studying about monochromatic colour schemes. I had explored tints and tones of different colours at that time. My self portrait which I shared earlier was also an exploration.
In this painting, I choose yellow colour and tried to show the morning scene. Actually, the painting is not yet complete. The plan was to show the bird sitting in a wheat 🌾 farm and there is the sun 🌞 rising in the background . But I couldn’t complete making wheat in the foreground. I really love how the tints(lighter shades) of yellow came up and I definitely messed up with the tones(darker shades)of yellow. Unfortunately, I do not have the process pictures.
I think, it looks more interesting and minimalist this way as there is only one bird sitting in front of vast yellow sky and also the thin grass is able to balance the weight of the bird and is able to stand on its own. My teacher also loved it.
