Theyyam is a popular ritual dance in Malabar,North Kerala. It is a unique combination of dance and music, Theyyam festival takes place every year.
Theyyam festival take places only in kannur and Kasargod Districts of Kerala. Theyyam are said to have healing powers and a divine personality when representing the deity.
The period from December to May marks Theyyam Season.
