Every autumn/fall here in Alberta is harvest season - and the big combines leave incredible patterns in the harvested hay or wheat. I usually shoot the mountains, but every once in a while I point my camera east to the prairies.
It does give a sense of why they call Alberta big sky country. Going east - it's sky, sky and more sky. It's also flat, flat and flatter.
The old joke is that you'd never lose your dog because you could see it running away for 4 days.

My wife is from there and I've travelled there a few times for work. My home for the majority of the time is Vancouver though.
