it really doesn't surprise me that he doesn't know anything about trade, just listening to him talk about it makes that obvious. but also, he's leading the party that doesn't understand debt and deficit either, so its no surprise that none of them can correct this stupidity.
I wouldn't say he leads the democratic party. Certainly he is one of the most popular comedians of a mostly liberal audience. He does a very shallow synopsis of trade, a mildly flawed synopsis of that, but he's a comedian. Also, the deficit is bigger this year then previous and debt has accelerated during this administration and republican control congress, so I don't understand what you're even saying about leading a party who doesn't understand debt and deficit.
