Swift-Tuttle comet is such a wonderful name for this beautiful thing. I think it does hold the spark of life, depending on the conditions.
If this thing crashed on a planet like earth which is a place that can sustain life it can surely bring in different chemical compounds. These different attributes mixed with the generating heat and force can create an array of compound mixtures. Scattering them all over and giving them different incubating properties.
I think are sparked came from something exactly like this. The condition of our existence was purely cosmic chance but it was eventually inevitable.
Yes, is very possible that a comet brought the necessary organic compounds to start life on earth.
