I like to post tid bit facts about comics and comic related movies to share with you all. I call the segment With Great Knowledge comes Great Responsibility.. (one of the greatest lines ever slightly tweaked) This week back in 1939 Batman made his grand first appearance in Detective Comics 27. The cover does have a May printed date but was released this week in March of 39. This is the first appearance of the Batman/ Bruce Wayne and also commissioner Gordon.
