A couple of weeks back, I received a call from freelance writer Susan Bloom, asking if she could interview me about my comic and toy store Conquest Comics for the Asbury Park Press. It seems that the publication features local small businesses throughout the state every week and I guess our shop was recommended to her. Cool beans!!!!
After an hour and a half of speaking with her about a plethora of issues from how the business started, how the pandemic has affected us, to backstory on ourselves...she ended up popping up the piece last week.
One cool aspect was popping onto my distributors website for Diamond Comics, and seeing us featured front and center. Badass!!!
