Good day folks!
Thanks so much for clicking to take a peek. It’s been a ridiculously busy week for me and it shows no signs of slowing down. I’ve been trying to stay as active as I can here as I love this outlet and the friends I’ve made, so while I don’t have a ton of time today…I still want to share with you all.
Today I decided to pop up a VERY photo heavy post showcasing our extensive statue collection at our shop Conquest Comics in Bayville, New Jersey. While we pack a ton of product in our shop, one of the few sections that’s near and dear to my heart is our statue section.
Lining two walls with cases floating in the center of the shop as well, over 1200 different statues and busts are set up for our customers viewing (and purchasing) pleasure. All of your favorite pop culture characters here on display are produced by several companies. Most are limited editions, so once they officially sell out…the secondary market reacts and believe me…some of these pieces go for big $$$$!
24 IKEA Detolf cases are packed to the brim with 2 large display cases joining in the mix. Then the tops are lined like sprinkles on this very expensive collectible Sundae.
Prices range from anywhere between $50 bucks upward to $4000 dollars and everywhere in between. We offer payment options like a layaway as we know more than anyone that it’s tough to explain to your better half that you dropped a grand on a scantily dressed vinyl depiction of your favorite vixen. Trust us….
So without further ado, here are a plethora of shots that will hopefully give you a better idea of the sheer volume of the every changing tasty statue goodness that I get to gaze at daily.

I had a few more but Hive.blog seems to be struggling with my never ending photo barrage…

Excuse me while I charge my phone…

Now show us your storage room…. 😄😂😍
Ask and ye shall receive…..
(Friday is for you)
Are you sure the internet is ready for this? 🤪🙃😄
I’m going to break the blockchain
Holy smokes that's a ton of great figures!
The only one that had me scratching my head was the big lizard face.
What is that from???
Was wondering the same. I think in another picture the base looks like it may be Reign of Fire. So maybe the dragon from Reign of Fire? Not sure haha.
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Yeah. Reign of Fire Maquette from Sideshow. Someone is actually paying that off right now on our layaway and has been a deadbeat. Thanks for the reminder on who to call to crack the whip a bit. Lol
This is so awesome! Love the Gremlins statue and the How to Train a Dragon one the most :D
Gremlins is life size replica from NECA and the Toothless is a Sideshow statue. Both are limited to just a few hundred each in the world!
Something for everyone there. You must have a ton of boxes for them all. So how many Funko Pops do you have?
I’ll pop up a post for you on Friday about the pops with answers and pics.
Yeah, the statue boxes are a real bitch as they take up a massive amount of room in our back room. Ugh…
With all due respect sir, you have an awesome job cause by God, that's a lot of statues. My favourite was definitely that one with Peter wrapping his arms around MJ; I can't help it, I'm a Spiderman simp. Who's the "queen" scantily draped in gold? my googling turned up nothing
Thanks man! It’s a fun gig I’ll admit.
The Peter & MJ is a statue by Sideshow Collectibles. It’s based off the artwork of J. Scott Campbell.
The Queen is Dejah Thoris and is also by Sideshow. They are one of the leaders in this industry.
So much eye candy! This is awesome. If I lived near I'd probably come in every day just to gawk haha. When I stayed in Japan, they had stores all over the place full of anime, manga and other fiction based statues/figures/etc... I'd just go walk around and marvel at them for hours at a time haha.
Love that Daredevil in the first picture. And was always a fan of the Doom on throne. And the Final Fantasy XII Judge head. And... well all of it is awesome haha.
The Doom on Throne is my personal favorite. At one point I had 12 of those!!!! Sadly this is the last one.
Yeah, as far as the shop goes….we want folks to kinda be a bit overwhelmed and in a state of awe. Lol. I love having a ton of product in your face at all angles. Really give it that old school comic shop feel from when I was a kid.
Doom is the best villain ever IMO. When I started buying key issues my top 3 targets were Tales of Suspense 39, Fantastic Four 5, and Daredevil 1. Doom had to be in there. 😁
We have some decent shops around here for mostly modern back issues and gaming but your shop looks a lot better from what I've seen in pictures. Would love to stop by some day... I live like 9 hours away though haha. May have to convince the wife to do a road trip that happens to go through NJ one day. 😅
That would be awesome! Maybe next year pop out for NYCC and swing by once close by! Lol
FF 5 is a monster book. I would love one in my PC one day.
I got pretty lucky a few years ago, got it ungraded for pretty cheap. I'm not much for grading but it is a really nice copy. FF5's value has gone up a lot since then it seems.
OMG this is a dream to me
