Bill Willingham's story continues in "Batman Vs. Bigby! A Wolf In Gotham 3" as the Robins and Batman come face-to-face with this giant wolf. To everyone's amazement, they hear it talk! Is Batman's intent to kill this monster the right choice? Meanwhile, buildings are going up in smoke all over Gotham City. This is spreading the police and costumed heroes thin. Deducing Bookworm is behind these attacks, Batman concludes this from the fact that each of these buildings are connected to books in some way, whether they are a library or someone housing rare books.
A gang of villains also showed up at the Impound Yard to rescue any kind of Book vehicle that was impounded. They also possessed names that included Kipling and Hemingway, or is this just a coincidence. Getting back to the wolf, people that were trapped inside one of these buildings claimed that the wolf saved them. Many of them probably received psychiatric evaluations after telling the police that the wolf spoke to them.
Brian Level, Jay Leisten and Lee Loughridge continued providing the detailed artwork on the inside of this graphic masterpiece, as well as the variant cover shown. Now, only if I can find the fourth installment in this era of the pandemic where items don't stick around on the shelves long enough. After appearing to understand Batman's method of fighting, I believe that the wolf will be sticking around for awhile.
