D.G. Chichester returns to the wonderful world of Hell's Kitchen and Daredevil in the limited run beginning in "Daredevil: Black Armor" #1. This also indicates that he returns to the original timeframe where his past Daredevil stories occurred. Going back to this time is especially funny when Daredevil tells Wilson Fisk that "you should run for office." Even though the statement is spoken sarcastically, the Kingpin actually likes the sound of "Mayor Fisk."
We see Melvin Potter working on the suit, even though he doesn't realize it is for Matt Murdock. He needs a new suit because the last one didn't hold up for the man without fear during a battle. Murdock is masquerading around town as Jack Batlin. In this new identity, Murdock can't help but think of Karen Page and Electra Natchios.
However, people are being abducted in plain sight right off the streets. While Daredevil stops an abduction from going further, Sabretooth intervenes and the kidnappers escape. It seems that they were all taking orders from one anonymous person. While protecting the streets, Batlin (Murdock) is also advertising legal services by posting flyers.
A Psychic friend would like Batlin to let go of his past, but there are hints that she would like to take their relationship to another level. Unfortunately, Jack is dealing with two many ghosts at the moment with the biggest one being himself. The team of Netho Diaz, J.P. Mayer and Andrew Dalhouse bring Chichester's story to life with their artwork. Kudos to Mark Bagley and Edgar Delgado for their wonderful cover, which to me has always been the first selling point of any issue!
