What better way to promote the new storylines happening with Spider-Man, Venom and Daredevil than by giving Web-Heads a preview in the issue designed for Free Comic Book Day! And if you don't think these heroes are connected, think again. Zeb Wells has the task of taking The Amazing Spider-Man to new heights, those in which Stan Lee and Steve Ditko may have only dreamed of. Ram V. and Al Ewing continue Eddie Brock's story into a level that parenting has never seen before. Chip Zdarsky leads Daredevil and those around him to total anarchy.

While the writers maintain the action throughout with their narration and dialogue, many don't realize the importance of the artists that have to tell the story through their graphic talents. Their expressive drawings and creative shadowing and coloring takes the reader way beyond their own imagination. Kudos in this issue goes to Patrick Gleason, Alejandro Sánchez, VC's Joe Caramagna, Bryan Hitch, Andrew Currie, Alex Sinclair, VC's Clayton Cowles and Greg Smallwood. They all played an integral part in bringing the action to each panel.

We believe at first that it is Spider-Man who takes down Bushwacker and his weaponized limbs. After being saved by his suit containing foam-based polymers, Spider-Man reveals himself to be Ben Reilly. The Beyond Corporation is working towards upholding the law the proper way utilizing their own version of a superhero, one that can be monitored. Meanwhile, Dylan Brock is having his own frustrating conversations with a symbiote since he believes that his father is gone. However, isn't Eddie Brock the King In Black? Doesn't he control all symbiotes? WTF is happening here? Since when does Eddie tell a symbiote to leave the violent action to him?

In another arc, why are private detectives being killed? What does Wilson Fisk mean when he says that nobody has seen the animal inside him? Fisk has too much power for someone looking to seek revenge. Bodies are sprawled out all over his office floor, with Spider-Man and the Elektra version of Daredevil included among them. Looking out the window to the streets below, Fisk knows who blame. And his name is Daredevil!
