Katherine Pryde (aka Shadowcat) never thought she would have the displeasure of seeing Ogun again until she walked into her workplace, the Belles of Hell. After all, she believed that Logan (aka Wolverine) and herself had killed him. However, her landlord's bar is in shambles with carnage throughout and Ogun standing front and center brandishing his sword. With Logan laying before him, Ogun explains how he has been living inside "Kitty" Pryde's soul since their last battle.
As she attempts to take him down again, she realizes that her powers aren't enough. Not even the claws of Wolverine can pierce Ogun's outfit. Thinking she won when she finally gets the upper hand, it really only neutralizes her nemesis. Leaving this encounter emotionally drained, Rachel Summers is at the apartment that they share to comfort her. Eventually, Storm shows up after rallying the team together for support.
With the help of Summers, Logan telepathically fills everyone in on the history that is shared by Ogun and Logan. Logan saved Pryde from being killed by Ogun. This after Pryde decided to escape from Ogun's control. As Global Marshalls, the X-Treme X-Men decide to hunt down Ogun. This plan is good, if they can find him!
Chris Claremont is ready to take the readers on a new twist with this being the first time these mutants are acting as Global Marshalls in X-Treme X-Men #1. Salvador Larroca and GURU-eFX give us an awesome cover drawing and plenty of detailed panels inside this issue.
