"Batman vs. Robin" #2 shows the readers a Damian Wayne whom has made his way to Lazarus Island. While wanting to follow in his father's footsteps, there is a dark side from Batman's past that is carrying over to Robin. Mark Waid utilizes Biblical references in this story that totally leave Batman and Alfred puzzled in their quest to find Bruce's son. The depiction above is the cover artwork beautifully depicted by Mahmud Asrar and Nathan Fairbairn.

Batman and Alfred are faced with a journey that forces them to relive many events that have taken place already. One of these is Felix Faust's battle with the Justice League. Abel meets our travelers at the House of Secrets, but Abel's days are numbered when Cain enters the picture. Illusion begins to mess with reality as both Batman and Alfred are introduced to Mother Soul, who is actually the mother of Ra's al Ghul.

Robin doesn't really turn on Batman until he releases the Devil Nezha from his tomb. The stunning graphic work of Mahmud Asrar and Jordie Bellaire takes us through the evil road to Damian Wayne's birthright as the Batman. Nezha also boosts Damian's strength by arming him with a gang of Robins! The ability of these soldiers have already been witnessed in the past, but not on the side of evil. The very last panel seems to also suggest that Alfred may be on the wrong side as well.
