The market is production and exchange for mutual benefit. Politics is coercion and plunder for the benefit of the political class at the expense of everyone else, and layers of lies to hide this fundamental reality. People who want political power blame the market for the consequences of political interventionism time and time again. Because they monopolize education and rely on the media to cover for them day-to-day, it usually works. Would people trust a Walmart education system if it said Walmart was a force for good? No. But government gets a pass because of tradition.
