It's not a DDos attack. They're doing updates on the site.
I'm replying from busy.org, no way to post on steemit.com.

Are you sure it's not? The site is doing what it's been doing since the only piece of news as to why it's being so crappy :(
I'm suspicious that the UI update is a cover for not being able to stop the attacks!

Busy are revamping their UI too and I think it's an improvement - still, it's not Steemit!
