Cadres or Organization Members

in #community3 years ago

I dedicate this article to commemorate the 74th birthday of my organization. It's been 74 years for this organization. It means that this organization is a big organization. For Indonesia, organizations that have been able to survive for 74 years are cadre organizations, not organizations that only have members.

Key words: cadres

I met my wife at the organization. We are both members of this organization. Our organization are Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam

Have you ever been active in a particular organization, regardless of the organization. There are many organizations, for example organizations that help in legal assistance, organizations that advocate for the environment, organizations that help education for leadership. All organizations are the same.

If we have the desire to participate in an organization. We will register to become a member of the organization. However, there are two types of people in all organizations, namely people who are only members of the organization. Then, there are members who are also cadres from the organization.

Then, the question that arises is, what is the difference between organizational members and organizational cadres?

Organization members are

Organization members are people who have been registered in organizational documents. Your name is on the member list. Only that? Not really. Members are usually seen when the organization carries out an activity.

Sometimes, members of the organization are proud of their membership status. He can tell many people that he is a member of the organization. Members of the organization can be seen from the people who complain a lot when given a job from the organization. It's natural. Because in general, a job in an organization does not give a certain amount of money. In fact, more often than not, your money is spent supporting organizational activities.

Am I a cadre?

If we look at some community organizations, there are certain questions that arise when looking at large organizations. Why is the organization big? Why are there so many members of the organization? Why is the organization able to carry out so many activities?

The answer is because the organization has members who are also cadres. Cadres in an organization are the heart of the organization. When a member carries out all the activities of the organization. So, he can be said to be a cadre.

Cadres are members who love their organization. Because of that love, the cadre is ready to give everything he can to the organization. The love of a cadre can be seen from his sacrifice. A cadre is even ready to learn and serve in order to achieve organizational goals.

The Path to Cadre

To get cadre status, we are required to go through a long process. As the voice of the word wise:

No one a great sailor was born out of the calm sea

After we become members, some organizations require their members to take training in leadership and organizational management. After being declared graduated, there is no word forced, we participate in all organizational activities. In fact, without being ordered, we get used to carrying out all activities.

Of course, at times, we feel bored, tired, or want to enjoy some time alone. Sometimes, we have to choose between organizational or personal interests. However, after several activities, we will have the ability to allocate time, time for personal needs and time for the organization.

Responsible

Have you ever seen or watched the news about politicians who have resigned from office? There are several politicians who give examples of political ethics. An organizational cadre can also be likened to a politician. There are ethical standards in the organization.

Let's look at an example, have you ever seen a politician pay homage by humbling himself? He did it because he felt responsible for an incident. Of course, an apology from a politician is delivered as a result of the failure of an activity or the failure of the policy chosen.

However, do you know about members of the organization who are not responsible, but are still proud to declare themselves as members? Maybe there is. There are also people who leave the obligation to manage the organization.
