I would like to participate 😄 but the mechanics of the system confuses me a bit, should I buy steem regularly to participate? I currently can't afford to do so (I wish I could since current prices are a really good deal)

hi @joelsegovia, you dont need to buy steem, you can power up your liquid earning, you can win it in contests, you can do what you like to earn it, just dont rob it lol.
