It's a gloriously sunny day here in Hobart today, and our local Volunteer Fire Brigade are hosting a community open day.
There was a host of emergency vehicles including some historical relics that have been restored.
They had showbags for the kids, a sausage sizzle and a great fundraising raffle
I believe it's important to get out and support these initiatives as it helps to teach kids that emergency service workers are there to help us, while also showing these volunteers that what they do is appreciated...
