A couple months ago I got hit by them (steemit defense league) pretty bad. and got into a conversation with @guiltyparties and @abh12345 about it and them.
@guiltyparties Does an enormous amount of work on this and phishing sites to include account recovery. Work behind the seines that people don't see. example:

As far as putting information goes it depends on the circle people are in. I myself have put this information or post it on many times.
Well, good. This is the first I've seen of it, so apparently the flaggers' range is extending after being at it for a while. It's sad that it appears that my circle has to expand to bring in all the possible sources for news like this, when I'd rather it didn't exist and so my circle expansion was dedicated solely to other topics I enjoy reading about. But, such is the nature of things.
Looks like guiltyparties has a comment here too that I need to respond to.
When you say pretty bad, do you mean multiple $0.00 flags, or did they manage to lop some rewards off?
I had 17 in one post. no damage and a couple people put a vote on it.
I haven't looked in the last couple days to see and I have other things more important then that little gnat.
@guiltyparties does a lot of work in this area. I keep tabs on him and try not to bother him to much LOL. In the last 3 months he has never failed to help. The information I get from his inputs is very informative in this area.
