A major controversy is developing in the community of "truth" channels on YouTube regarding the #QAnon phenomenon ever since YouTuber @defango revealed (allegedly) that some of the people behind the Cicada 3301 puzzle were also behind creating the character of Q, an apparent government insider who began releasing information on 4chan by posting leading questions. In this video I ask rhetorically if the truth actually matters and I challenge Qtubers, some of whom have built their channels on the Q phenomenon, to address the issue with their audience rather than simply ignore it, as they have been doing so far.

Good question. I saw a lot of folks, especially amongst the Trump believers on the right pumping out that QAnon material and just taking it for granted that the questions were coming from Trump himself. Now that it has been revealed that they were not coming Trump or anyone in his admin or close acquaintances, it is time for those channels to come clean and own up to the mistake they presented to their audiences. One doesn't gain credibility by ignoring that which stares them in the face after 3 months of harping on said subject and presenting it inaccurately.

It is dangerous to keep on thinking that other people are going to save us, and I really like how you get that point acrooss. We are going to save ourselves.
My position is that ONLY the truth matters. If it is shown that someone is lying, it is shown that they aren't your friend, aren't waking you, and are deceiving you for some ulterior motive.
The fact that Q has become some kind of pro-Trump shitshow, full of disinformation, propaganda, and delusion, is simply verification that TPTB continually employ lies to keep people from being free, and maintain their control over them.
I saw many videos that made convincing cases that flights were en route to Gitmo, that boots were concealing tracking devices, and that purported that Trump was actually draining the swamp.
I will be difficult to convince that all of those posters, channels, and 'infowarriors' aren't just shills for the deep state, now, or that any of those desired outcomes - corrupt politicians, pedophiles, and barbaric warlords being rounded up, disempowered, and prosecuted, will ever happen under Trump.
I am beginning to be convinced that my initial assessment of Trump as a fraudster was true.
The only thing that indicates any possibility otherwise is that ISIS has lost 98% of the territory it claimed under Obama.
I suspect that this anomolous fact will become clear before too long, and simply be a restructuring of deep state power structure in the face of adamant Russian opposition.
I frankly suspect that Trump, and even Putin himself, are far less powerful than we have been led to believe. Trump recently tweeted outrage that Sessions hasn't acted, and this shows he personally isn't in charge of the USG. Putin has been opposed in his recent move to develop a cryptoruble by the MoF and Russian banks.
The deep state appears, at this point, to be unassailable, and winning.
Q seems to be their tool, and intended to break the spirit of opposition forces, when the fantastic promises and BS Q is getting them to believe are shown to be completely false.
A lot of boomers, when they find they have been fooled, will just give up, and never again be recruited to oppose bankster controlled tyranny. Just like the Hippies were used to discredit the antiwar movement in the 1960's, Q is going to do the same to the anticorruption, redpill movement today.
