RE: Constrained Writing Contest #16 + Winners of Constrained Writing Contest #15

in #constrainedwriting8 years ago (edited)

Write a story that either starts happy and ends sad, or starts sad and ends happy.

That's what I usually do when I write! The first one! : )
A good place to start participating in this series of contests!

Raise at least 1 existential question in your story. You can have your characters straight out ask it, or you can be more profound and conceal it within your story.

. . . This, too, is something I normally try to do in all my longer stories! (I just need to avoid procrastinating.)

I just need to avoid procrastinating.

Sounds exactly like what I would say ... did we just become best friends? :D

Could be :)

My entry: Pivotal.

It'll be finished later today, 15000 words expected. I'll be updating that post. Expect a shocker ending. Freewriting.

updating that post. Expect a shocker

:D

A producer asked Puccini, if the opera was going to be cut in length, can they also cut out Tosca jumping to her death?

Puccini replied: ``No, no, absolutely not, she definitely has to jump off.''

``What if Cavaradossi doesn't die in our version?''

``Even then.'' (Her cat died?)
