I just came across this contest and couldn't resist. I hope you are amused. My story, in 229 characters:

"Let go. I've got you.
"You're safe.
"I'm telling you. It'll be alright.
"Go ahead. Trust me.
"You can do it.
"You have to trust someone, sometime.
"That's it. Easy. Slowly...
"Good, good...
"Let go, now...
"Oops.
"Sorry..."
