Wow! Powerful stuff! Thank you for sharing your thought provoking read! So much of people's willingness to 'just believe' is bred into them by supposedly well meaning parents, religious leaders (in particular) and such...encouraging the blind obedience/belief to retain their own power. To speak the truth is to share power.
@mamajeanie you're 100% right! and thanks for checking out my deadpost!
to speak and be heard is the greatest gift we have.. why so many people choose lies, secrets and disguises is mind boggling.
@insideout that's very true.. we all live in our own little reality bubbles so truth can be a matter of opinion sometimes :) thanks for checking out my post!
The conviction that "you might have missed something" is really a humble one, on the other hand it will never take you anywhere. The vast majority of people are advocates of what benefits them regardless of the truth of it. Few are those who seek the absolute truth.
The fact about health is every thing is healthy as long as it is close to its natural state.
@alignment you are definitely right about the vast majority being advocates for whatever they believe in. It makes the world very confusing. Thank you for reading the post and taking the time to comment!
When was is aware of the truth, there's this inner peace and happiness. Often times, we never took time to verify what we are been told about life, food, culture, etc, we just accept everything hook, line and sinker. There's power in making researches and validating what we are being told. It's important for us to grow as human beings.
I certainly hope you are right and that places like Steem can lead to truth. There are so many people here willing to share their wisdom but then I look at Facebook and become scared by all the people being led like sheep. My voting power is low...I'll be back.
here's my deadpost The power of Truth

The truth is dependant on ones perspective. So it's never all that set lol. Funny given we put so much on that truth.
