My Intro:
Hi, my name is Mello and I am part of team BeeYOU I had so much fun hosting Super Bowl LII Block Pool Contest that I want to host another. Rather than wait for football season to commence, I thought, “why not apply this to basketball?” It is a high scoring volatile game with some dramatic memorable endings that will leave you breathless. Block pools are closely tied to the Super Bowl, but why not to the NBA All Star Games?
How to play the game:
There are 100 blocks available. After a block is selected, it is no longer available to the next player. Each player can select 2 unselected blocks. After all the blocks have been claimed, it is time to randomly assign the numbers 0-9 to each column and row heading using this website: https://draftkit.com/assets/pages/free-box-game-number-generator.html. Each square represents the last digit of the cumulative score in the game based on the column and row numbers.
A winner will be determined at the end of the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and final score which includes over-time if it applies. The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each team’s cumulative score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers.
Here is an example of how you would win: if the cumulative 1st quarter score for San Antonio is 28, Golden State is 31. The last number for San Antonio is 8, and the last number for Golden State is 1. The square on the grid that has San Antonio with number 8, and Golden State with the number 1, will be the winner for the 1st quarter. You have 4 chances to win.

Let me try to explain using that results of the last contest.
Let's look at the 1st quarter score which was Indiana 30, Washington 20. We only count the last digit of the cumulative score which is zero for both teams. Look for the block has Indiana 0, and Washington 0, which is M32. Therefore, if you selected that block, you win for the first quarter. Repeat for 2nd, 3rd, and final score. I hope this helps.

So the same person has to win all four quarters to win? How does the random generator come into play? are they the axis you use?
There is a prize for each quarter. It is possible that one person can win all for prizes or four people can win one prize each. It all depends on the score of the nba game that is playing right now.
When you first pick the blocks, there are no numbers assigned. Before the nba game starts, I generate the numbers. Then the point of the contest is to match the cumulative nba game score of each quarter to the corresponding block.
